In this teaching resource participants examine whether they are indeed “pressing toward the mark” from “God’s perspective”. Self-examination questions are used throughout the text so readers can walk away with a more realistic view of their standing. It is God who: sets the mark, holds the prize, and, ‘calls’- His way through Christ Jesus. When we truly are pressing toward the mark we can say as Paul that nothing shall separate us from God or His love (Ro. 8: 35-end).

This resource is based on the scripture Proverbs 4:23: "Keep thy heart with all diligence: for out of it are the issues of life” from a biological symbolical perspective. Participants examine: • the “heart” as it relates to one’s physical and mental self; • the inward parts – physical and spiritual; and, • the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory system in relation to one’s spiritual body.
